NWFA Spring Art Expo Call for Artists and Crafters
COOK, MN — Planning is underway for the Northwoods Friends of the Arts (NWFA) Spring Art Expo, which will take place June 4 through June 28 at the NWFA Gallery, located at 210 River Street in Cook, Minnesota.
Artists and crafters are invited to participate in this special exhibition. The entry fee is $20 for NWFA members and $40 for nonmembers. There is no rent charged or commissions taken on artwork sold during the Spring Art Expo.
Each participant will be provided approximately 4 x 8 feet of wall space or about 6 feet of table space. Artists may use their own display units if they fit within the established space guidelines.
Because the Spring Art Expo is a special event, artists currently exhibiting in the Gallery must register and pay the entry fee if they choose to participate.
Artwork may be dropped off at the NWFA Gallery on Saturday, May 30, and Monday or Tuesday, June 1–2, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. All artworks must be clearly priced, labeled with the artist’s initials, and submitted with a completed inventory form. Artists who need alternative delivery times should contact Alberta at 218-666-2153 to plan arrangements.
Artist Bios are requested and will be displayed with the artwork. Please email the bios to Shawna Kishel at shkishel@gmail.com by May 30.
The Spring Art Expo provides an opportunity for artists to present and sell their work while contributing to a communitywide celebration of the arts.
